Where you look affects how you feel

— David Grand, Ph.D.

Brainspotting is a mindfulness based focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing, and releasing core neuro-physiological sources of emotional & physical pain, in addition to coping mechanisms associated with trauma and PTSD.

It allows the client to channel the healthy "mind" knowledge they possess to transform debilitating traumatic memories and the negative beliefs they feel in relation to the incident. Brainspotting is an integrative approach for healing trauma that focuses on reconnecting the body with the mind throughway of bilateral stimulation and attunement to one's gaze and internal process.
